HSBC has launched an exchange traded derivatives clearing
service for institutional investors in India. The launch was
HSBC's first move into the futures and options clearing space
by its sub-custody and clearing unit.
The service enables local and cross-border investors to
clear both equities and equity derivatives trades through
HSBC's custody and clearing business which has become a
"professional clearing member" of the derivatives segment of
National Stock Exchange of India (NSE).
