deadline set for the markets in financial instruments directive
(Mifid), according to speakers at a panel held in London last
The chairman of Mifid Connect and CEO of Futures and Options
Association, Anthony Belchambers, said that the impact of the
directive will differ greatly between EU members. "For some
member states with no indigenous system, as in the UK, the
changes will be huge," he said.
