An increase in ETF options trading has helped propel total
US options volume cleared by Options Clearing Corporation
(OCC). This in turn has resulted in the organisation cutting
its fees for the fourth time since April 2004.
A 45% increase in options volume year-on-year prompted OCC
to reduce fees for the majority of the trades it clears by 30%
and will make the cuts effective from 30 September.
