New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) will list a version of
its Brent crude contract on Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME)'s
Globex system. In line with existing Nymex offerings on the
platform, the contract was to be financially settled.
The exchange said that physically settled contracts like
those traded in the Nymex pits would be available within six
months of the Globex switch, which took place on 12 June.
However, market sources have indicated that the additions could
come as early as October.
