Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) has announced a series of
upgrades to its electronic platform, which the exchange
estimated had improved speed by 1,700% year-on-year.
In a statement, the exchange said that the updates were the
result of a "year-long technology effort" with the average
round-trip transaction time set at roughly 31 milliseconds,
according to exchange figures. ICE felt its system was now "on
par with the fastest electronic platforms in the industry".
