Talks between Chicago Board of Trade (CBoT) and New York
Board of Trade (Nybot) have broken down over an agreement that
would have put Nybot contracts on the E-CBoT trading platform.

Euronext Market Solutions (AEMS), which provides E-CBoT's Liffe
Connect system, may be ready to step into the breach.

that the preliminary deal struck in January had died, but that
the exchange remained committed to finding an electronic
trading platform. Talks broke down over a disagreement on a
non-compete clause, one source told FO Week.
