Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) has joined New York
Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) in becoming licensed to allow Dubai
traders to access their respective UK and US energy futures
Nymex was granted trading status in the region at the end of
April with ICE following suit last week. The deals saw both
exchanges designated as recognised bodies by Dubai Financial
Services Authority (DFSA) and allow Dubai-based traders access
to WTI and Brent oil derivatives.
