Kansas City Board of Trade (KCBT) has said it is to take its
agricultural contracts on screen alongside its daytime pit
session in a similar switch to the one planned by Chicago Board
of Trade (CBoT).
KCBT said that its board of directors voted on 25 April to
extend the electronic trading hours of its hard red winter
wheat futures contract. It said that a second electronic
trading session would mirror the open outcry trading hours of
9.30am to 1.15pm (CST) in addition to the current after-hours
trading session from 6.32pm to 6.00am.
