Atlanta exchange's WTI market share at nearly 25% in April
Volumes in Intercontinental Exchange (ICE)'s WTI crude
contract continued to gain ground last week as the exchange hit
30% market share in a single day, taking its WTI average daily
market share to nearly 25% in April.
ICE traded over 143,000 WTI contracts on 25 April, 30% of
the total number of WTI contracts traded on ICE and New York
Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) combined. The exchange had
previously announced that it achieved consecutive daily WTI
records of 100,787 and 121,027 on 11 and 12 April.
