Calyon Financial has become the second international FCM to
take direct clearing membership of Taiwan Futures Exchange
(Taifex), joining prior entrant JPMorgan in predicting
increased interest in the market from overseas
Angelique Murphy, Calyon SVP and head of global sales
management, told FO Week, "Taifex is already a top 20
market, and it's located in an extremely important and growing
area of the world. We expect it will become an important market
for both us and our institutional client base.
