New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) said it has corrected a
technical glitch that downed its electronic trading platforms
last week and reassured traders that the problem was not a
harbinger of doom for its side-by-side trading plan.
Market participants have raised questions over the ability
of Nymex's systems to cope with its forthcoming switch to
side-by-side screen and pit trading (see FO Week Vol
11 No 6).
