ISV to concentrate on marketing existing product suite
As software vendor Patsystems continued to move towards
profitability in 2005, incoming CEO David Webber told FO
Week that the firm has turned a corner and should be able
to divert more attention from the development to the marketing
of its products in 2006.
In a statement accompanying the ISV's financial results Pats
chairman, Stewart Millman, said that while 2005 had been a
positive year it nevertheless had not been as prosperous as had
been hoped (see FO Week Vol 11 No 7). Webber explained
that there were two reasons for that.
"The major element is that there are some new product
offerings that we didn't get out into the market as promptly as
we would have liked, but the really important thing is what
we're looking forward to in 2006," he said. "We're sat here
with our range of products fully developed and our sales and
account management teams are concentrating on promoting those
to new and existing clients."
