Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) has said it is set to
offer new futures and options enhancements to its Globex
electronic trading platform in February.
The technology enhancements, slated for 19 February 2006,
focus largely on new Eurodollar futures and options trading
functionality as well as some market data changes.
The changes include an automated request for cross function
on Eurodollar options and a number of new spread types. The new
request for cross functionality will allow users to simplify
the process, allowing brokers to find buyers or sellers on the
other side of a customer's order.
