Goldman Sachs (GS) has announced the acquisition of
Chicago-based futures trade execution services provider
Patterson Capital Markets for an undisclosed sum.
According to terms of the deal, which closed on 9 November,
Patterson would continue to operate as a stand-alone business
under the day-to-day management of current president Zach
Patterson. The broker's employees would also continue to
operate out of Chicago.
