Singapore Exchange (SGX) has announced that its president,
Ang Swee Tian, plans to retire at the end of this year.
Ang has worked for SGX for 22 years during which time he
headed up the launch of Simex's mutual offset system in
conjunction with Chicago Mercantile Exchange in 1984. He was
also involved in rolling out the exchange's flagship Nikkei 225
and MSCI Taiwan futures contracts. He will continue to serve as
a senior adviser to SGX after his retirement.
