Man Financial has filed a legal response denying the
contempt of court motion lodged against the firm by hedge fund
Philadelphia Alternative Asset Management (PAAM) receiver Clark
Hodgson, as well as the allegations of collusion in fraud
contained in Hodgson's documents.
According to Eastern District of Pennsylvania Court
documents, Man Financial has insisted that it was more than
sufficiently compliant in its legal obligations to provide
Hodgson with documents pertaining to the alleged fraud
perpetrated by PAAM manager Paul Eustace.
In addition, the firm's lawyers cited the fact that
Commodity Futures Trading Commission [CFTC] has not joined
Hodgson's motion as a vindication of its full compliance.
