European Energy Exchange (EEX) has announced it is to build
on its carbon emissions spot market with the launch of
emissions futures in October.
A spokesperson for the exchange told FO Week that
the spot contracts started out in an auction market in March
before EEX introduced a full continuous market in August and
that good volume and liquidity has made it decide to launch
