director of e-commerce John Browning, who also has global
responsibility for commodities at the bank, last week
criticised the electronic trading status quo at London Metal
In the article, Browning claimed that LME's failure to
permission online trade crossing by individual users of its
Select electronic trading platform, "have led order routing
houses to develop necessary solutions significantly different
from those seen in the futures markets."
