The deal, which was expected to close this summer, will
allow Fimat to offer futures, equity options and now stocks to

Week the acquisition was a natural extension of its US
business. San Francisco-based Preferred will provide Fimat with
memberships to all major US stock markets and a direct access
trading and clearing platform.
