A New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) member firm last week
hosted a meeting to discuss issues surrounding the exchange at
what it called a "critical juncture."
The firm, MBF Clearing Corp - which claims to be one of the
largest clearing firms on Nymex - and its founder, Mark Fisher,
had not responded to requests for comment about the 30 March
meeting as FO Week went to press. It was also unclear
how many attendees there had been.
