Ffastfill has revealed more details of the application
service provider (ASP) deal it recently signed with investment
bank Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) (see FO
Week Vol 10 No 12).
The service, which was finalised at the beginning of the
year, will provide DrKW with an independently hosted and
managed trading system in between the bank and exchanges.
Ffastfill director Nigel Hartnell told FO Week,
"Instead of [DrKW] having to integrate our software with other
software, their own infrastructure and network, they contract
with us for a service and we provide the whole thing. We run
the service on our infrastrucure and we incur the costs and the
