Trading Technologies (TT) has obtained a second court ruling
upholding its controversial software patents in the settlement
of a suit against another of its customers, Chicago trading
firm Kingstree Trading. The suit, filed and settled last week,
follows the rapid settlement of a similar case last month
against trading firm Goldenberg Hehmeyer (GHCO), which is both
a TT customer and the clearing firm for TT founder Harris
Brumfield's trading activities. Another suit, against Espeed,
is still ongoing.
