Euronext Liffe is working on a listed credit derivatives
product, despite the setback caused by new talks among the
providers of indices for the credit default swap (CDS)
Amanda Sudworth, director of fixed income product
management, told FO Week, "We think we've got a
product that works and we want to do this." She added that the
only hold up for the exchange was the lack of licence from the
iTraxx consortium, which was created by the merger of the Dow
Jones Trac-x and iBoxx indices earlier this year.
