Announcing its results for the first half of 2004, Euronext
indicated that the derivatives part of its business had
supported its cash markets over the period, accounting for
38.5% of the group's revenue. Derivatives were one of the key
drivers behind revenue growth, although that growth was limited
to 2.3% on the same period in 2003.
