Growing disquiet as MRS project scrapped, plastics futures delayed
Alan Whiting is leaving his post as London Metal Exchange
compliance director amid turbulent times for the exchange,
which last week admitted that it was ditching a much-vaunted
technology project and postponing the launch of its plastics
LME last week abandoned plans to introduce a matching and
registration system (MRS) that it had said would lead to
millions of pounds worth of annual savings for members.
