JP Morgan Futures is rolling out a series of
internally-devised electronic trading tools to its clients,
beginning with a spread-trading tool.
The tool, which the bank said will be followed by ten more
by the end of the year, was created using technology supplied
by UK-based Apama.
Alison Pothier, JP Morgan's global head of electronic
trading for futures and options, told FO Week the move
would enable the bank to provide a more useful service than if
it supplied off-the-shelf vendor products.
