Ffastfill and Future Dynamics (FD), the two ISVs selected in
last week's deal between Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) and
Reuters (see story above), will compete with each other to win
business as part of the linkup.
CME also told FO Week that other ISVs may become
involved in routing fx orders placed through Reuters screens to
the exchange. According to Bryan Hunter, director, currency
products, at the exchange, "There is no intention of offering
an exclusive ISV; there may in fact be clearing firms that want
to use their own ISV [to route Reuters to CME]".
