Indonesia's Surabaya Stock Exchange will list futures contracts
on the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the Dow Jones Japan
Titans 100 Index following a licensing agreement with Dow Jones
Indexes. The contracts will be launched on 27 April.
Hindarmojo Hinuri, president director of Surabaya Stock
Exchange, said, "Trading of index futures based on foreign
indices tremendously lately. It shows that Indonesian investors
need diversified investment products."
