Euronext's derivatives revenues had a mixed year in 2003
according to its annual results, published last week. The
exchange saw a 38% increase in interest rate product volume
partially offset by a 16% fall in volume in equity products - a
reduction it ascribed to "the lack of end investors activity in
the underlying cash market".
