Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) unveiled its new Globex
Learning Centre last week, a facility that will train and
educate CME and Chicago Board of Trade (CBoT) members and the
CME created an electronic trading floor that features dozens
of trading screens with 13 different independent software
vendors, data providers and trading software vendors
represented. In addition, the centre features a classroom with
25 trading monitors as well as a Globex training room. CBoT
will share in the costs of running the centre. CME also showed
its new visitors centre, which features interactive information
about the history and workings of the exchange.
