Hugh Freedberg, chief executive of Euronext Liffe, has taken
over responsibility for the Euronext group's IT operations. The
move is part of a shake-up in preparation for the departure of
George Möller at the end of March.
Freedberg will be charged with rationalising the group's
commercial IT business, including Liffe Market Solutions, the
spin-off company established to market the Connect exchange
platform. Mark Hemsley, the current head of Market Solutions,
is due to leave the exchange next month (see FO Week
Vol 9 No 2).
