Eurex has had its knuckles rapped by Commodity Futures
Trading Commission (CFTC) over promotional statements relating
to its proposed US futures exchange and the related
transatlantic clearing link.
Eurex was forced to retract references to the proposed
launch dates, having failed to mention they were subject to
CFTC approval of Eurex's application for contract market
The move followed mounting criticism from opponents of Eurex
US who claim that Eurex's regulatory filings are at odds with
its publicity material.
