OM has won the tender to provide Singapore Exchange (SGX)
with an integrated equities and derivatives trading engine.
First flagged in FO Week a month ago (see FO Week Vol 8 No
45), the deal will see SGX launching the world's first trading
engine to integrate securities and derivatives.
Named SGX Quest (SGX Quotation and Execution System for
Trading), it will be powered by OM's Click XT and will be
implemented in SGX's derivatives market by the third quarter of
2004, and the securities market by the first half of 2005.
