The race to launch the world's first credit futures contract
is hotting up with the announcement last week that iBoxx
Indices is developing a credit futures contracts with Deutsche
Bank, ABN Amro and Citigroup.
Earlier this month, Dow Jones Indexes told FO Week
it was in close discussion with a number of leading exchanges
around the globe about launching listed derivatives on its own
credit derivatives index products, TRAC-X. A TRAC-X-based
product could be launched by next summer.
