Taiwan Futures Exchange is studying the possibility of
launching its first commodities futures contracts including a
Dynamic Random Access Memory (D-RAM) contract.
A spokesperson told FO Week that the Taipei
Computer Association is assisting with the study and that while
there was "no launch day or even year set for the contract...
the D-RAM industry in Taiwan mostly agrees with the idea and
considers it as a good instrument for managing price
