An exchange traded credit derivatives product could be
listed by next summer, following the huge interest exchanges
have shown in the TRAC-X index now managed by Dow Jones
Leading exchanges from around the globe have been in
discussion with the index provider since the announcement of
its intention to manage TRAC-X a month ago. According to Lars
Hamich, executive director of global business development at
Dow Jones Indexes, exchanges from all three major time zones
approached Dow Jones to investigate the requirements for
listing derivatives contracts based on the index.
