EDX London, the derivatives division of London Stock
Exchange (LSE), has delayed its clearing migration to London
Clearing House (LCH) to next year. A notice circulated to
members said the migration, originally planned for 1 December,
had been delayed due to unresolved commercial, technical and
The circular was accompanied by a joint letter from EDX md,
Nic Stuchfield and LCH md, Arun Aggarwal, advising members that
OM London Exchange would continue to act as the designated
clearinghouse for EDX until a new migration date was confirmed.
They said that the precise time scale for the switch would be
communicated "as soon as circumstances allow."
