Kai Neumann, a senior member of the New York Mercantile
Exchange (Nymex) IT team, has left the exchange in the run up
to the planned migration of Nymex's electronic trading from
Access to the Clearport platform.
An exchange spokeswoman confirmed Neumann's departure, which
she admitted would create some hardship for the IT
"He is a very talented person. The loss of a staff member
can put pressure in other staff members. But we have other very
talented people and they will take over where he left off," the
spokeswoman told FO Week.
