"Comprehensive announcement" due this week
In a move seen as a measure to strengthen its competitive
edge over Eurex, Chicago Board of Trade (CBoT) is set to
announce a raft of changes to its fees and access structure.
The exchange is also lining up a batch of new products to
launch after the migration of its trading and clearing
CBoT is expected to announce fee cuts and other measures
this week. Aimed at simplifying and reducing the cost of market
access to certain non-members, the measures will nonetheless
not replicate Eurex's model of a uniform trading fee for every
