Following Eurex's drive to capture market share in Dutch
options, Deutsche Börse last week released details of its
plan to do the same in Dutch equities. The German stock
exchange will triple the number of Dutch securities traded on
its pan-European platform Xetra. Continuous trading will be
increased from eight to 25 Dutch Stars (Dutch Eurostoxx 50
stocks) and will begin on 17 November. The offer is open to all
Xetra trading members active in the stock for two years, ending
on 30 November, 2005.
