International Petroleum Exchange (IPE) has released details
of its new membership structure for electronic trading in the
run-up to the introduction of side-by-side trading of brent
crude futures. IPE chairman Richard Ward, told FO Week
that an exact date, or provisional one, had not been set but
the parallel session would commence in "the not too distant
The exchange previously said the session would be introduced
not before 1 September and after threeweek's notice given to
members and users (See FO Week Volume 8, No 23). Such
notice has not yet been issued.
