Trading came to a halt on Liffe Connect in London and Paris
last Wednesday when the system's hardware failed.
Connect in London was down for over three hours, halting
trading in financial and commodity futures. Equities were not
affected. The market was back up just before 4pm.
In an email to members, Liffe said some erroneous trade
records were transmitted to the trade recognition system. Liffe
said these were identified and deleted manually and that the
affected members were notified.
