Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Chicago Board of Trade and
Euronext Liffe could join force to create a transatlantic
clearing link, exchange leaders said last week.
Speaking during derivatives week, officials from both the
Chicago exchanges hinted that their recently announced common
clearing link could be expanded to include Liffe, which is
supplying CBoT with a trading platform, though it appears the
suggestion has not yet gone beyond the idea stage.
