Cost-cutting exercises will bump up 2003 bonuses slightly
across the derivatives industry according to a salary and
bonuses survey conducted by London executive search firm Napier
Scott. However, according to the company's ceo Shaun Springer,
there is little cause for optimism as gains in derivatives are
likely to be used to offset losses elsewhere.
