NexTrade, a US ECN, said it will file an application with
Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to create NexTrade
The Florida-based firm, which has been in business for over
five years, plans to introduce an all-electronic trading
platform with a mix of proprietary contracts and some contracts
competing with other exchanges. The launch date is still
unknown, because the company is still the process of completing
a formal filing with CFTC.
