Despite a drop in volume during April, interest in exchange-
traded funds (ETF) continues unabated according to Deborah
Fuhr, director of global ETF research at Morgan Stanley. The
month saw two new ETFs and two cross-listings launched and Fuhr
said she saw the growth in ETFs continuing over the second
"Investors are still sitting on cash but believe if the
market is improving they will put cash to work as opposed to
active opportunist short-term trades, with a hope of capturing
some performance," she said
