CBoT's decision to list its new mini agricultural contracts
for open outcry trading only may lead to cries from some
quarters of the 'leopards never change their spots' variety.
Just as it seemed the exchange was working to shake the image
of a lumbering institution, slow to embrace change and shackled
by its membership, along comes a decision which appears to fly
in the face of all that.
