The Indian government has cleared 54 more commodities
including gold, silver, wheat and rice for futures trading.
The move paves the way for the ICICI Bank/National Stock
Exchange of India (NSE) consortium to launch its
multi-commodity futures exchange with an expanded product range
(see FO Week Vol 8 No 7).
