No ISV coverage as yet for new system
Energy traders reported glitches last Thursday when
International Petroleum Exchange (IPE) transferred out-of-hours
trading in its Brent crude and gas oil futures contracts onto
the electronic platform supplied by parent company
Reaction among trading firms was mixed, with some relaxed
about what they saw as early teething troubles and others more
concerned by what they saw as avoidable problems. A number of
firms also said they had not experienced problems.
One trader at a major clearing firm told FO Week:
"I'm not massively impressed at this stage. There are glitches
in the system that were reported during the test phase that
have not been rectified."
