Norway's financial supervisory watchdog has rejected
applications from seven foreign hedge fund groups who want to
market their funds in Norway, saying the way they use
derivatives makes the funds risky and incompatible with
Seven companies are involved, are already fighting back and
have started to appeal against the decision.
The applicants are GN Fund of Funds, Auda Absolute Return
Fund, ABN Amro Multi Strategy Fund, Credit Suisse Prime Select
Trust, DnB Multihedge and seven Key Asset Management funds.
